AVET Technology Ltd designs and manufactures its modern, state-of-the-art, family of digital evidential interview recorders in the UK with law enforcement and PACE compliance firmly in mind. Our recorder products, both fixed and portable, audio and video, meet the exacting needs of police and agencies requiring reliable, small, easy to operate and cost-effective interview solutions.
The PER Pro portable evidential video recorder weighs less than 4kg with an industry beating footprint of 200 mm square; it is very easy to transport or carry, comes with all you need to conduct an interview and can be set up within 2 minutes. A fixed video recorder version is also available for use in permanent interview suites or rooms. All our units are network compatible.

- A control unit including an intuitive 7-inch capacitive touch-screen colour display for control and set-up of the interview.
- 2 separate cameras in a small lightweight housing for wide-angle and close-up viewing;
- GPS antenna to provide time, date and location when connected;
- Data connections including RJ45 (Ethernet) and 2 x USB 2.0 (one on the front of unit for easy access) connections;
- 3 internal DVD drives with finalising discs taking less than 3 minutes;
- Internal battery backup functionality;
- Microphone, tripod and mains power supply unit;
Optional extras include spare external batteries, solar chargers, a hard carry-case, additional microphones, various camera options, network recording solutions, transcription equipment, high quality consumables and a service maintenance agreement.
All AVET products are fully compliant with PACE, ABE and the Home Office Digital Witness Statement – Evidential Authenticity Standards Ver 2.1.
